    Montauk is easily accessible by car, rail (Long Island Railroad) and motor coach (regularly scheduled service from Manhattan on the Hampton Jitney). The Beach Plum is conveniently situated within walking distance of the town of Montauk as well as miles of clean white sandy beaches perfect for long walks or just laying back on the warm sand and and getting some sun.

    From New York City:
    Take the Long Island Expressway (495) EAST to Exit 70 (Route 111 – Manorville) SOUTH, to Montauk Highway (Route 27) EAST.   Stay on Rt. 27 East through the Hamptons and Amagansett. From Rt. 27 East bear right onto Old Montauk Highway. The Beach Plum is located on your left after about 3 miles, at 797 Old Montauk Highway.


    From Northern New Jersey or Upstate New York:

    Take the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway eastbound. Follow the Cross Bronx Expressway to the Throgs Neck Bridge. Cross the Throgs Neck Bridge into Queens to the Clearview Expressway. Take Clearview to LI Expressway (I-495) towards eastern LI and proceed as above.


    From Staten Island, Central, or Southern New Jersey :

    Take Goethals Bridge or Outerbridge from New Jersey to Staten Island. Follow the Staten Island Expressway to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn. From the bridge, connect with the Belt Parkway eastbound, past JFK Airport to the Southern State (SO) Parkway eastbound. Continue on Southern State to Exit 44E – Route 27 (Montauk) and proceed as above.


    By Ferry:
    From New London: For car and passenger service, take the Cross Sound Ferry from New London to Orient Point; travel West on Route 25 to the Greenport Ferry to the Shelter Island Ferry.     By Bus, Plane or Rail:


    The Hampton Jitney:
